Sequence Membership Management Page

Purpose

This screen will allow you to manage an Event membership to Sequences starting from the Event object side. You could do the same starting from the Sequence side using the Sequences Management Page.

Getting There...

To reach the Sequence Membership Management Page of an existing Event:

• From the Main Application Menu (or indeed almost any other Project Hirtius page), click on the "Manage Events" icon in the header (). This gets you to the Events List.
• Navigate the Events List until you locate the event you're looking for.
• Then click on the Edit action link (last column) to open the Events Edition Page in edition mode for the event record in question.
• Scroll down the page until you reach the Sequences section, and click on the Edit action link located next to it.

Supported actions

This page can be used to:

• Add the current Event as member to one or more Sequences
• Remove the current Event membership to one or more Sequences

Controls

Object name

The first row below the page header displays the name of the Event currently being edited. This name will always contain a link (typically the object type prefix letter -- see Objects and Metadata Types -- followed by its ID). Clicking on it will lead you back to the Events Edition Page in 'view' mode for that Event.

Link actions

In this case, links between Events and Sequences are to be deduced from the contents of two multi-select list controls. Their contents is acted upon using two ./buttons.

Member list

Multi-select list control. Contains the list of all Sequences the current Event is already member of.

Other Sequences list

Multi-select list control. Contains the list of all Sequences the current Event is not member of.

Add button

Select one or more Sequences on the right side (Other Sequences list) and click Add to make the current Event member of these Sequences. No further confirmation required, the screen is updated immediately.

Remove button

Select one or more Sequences on the left side (Member list) and click Remove to remove the membership of the current Event from these Sequences. No further confirmation required, the screen is updated immediately.

Returns you to the Events Edition Page in 'edit' mode for that Event.
